Advertising/Sponsorship Committee – Chair: Kenda Daria
Responsible for overseeing any advertising and sponsorship activities for the association. This committee’s main goal for 2013 is to develop a comprehensive advertising and sponsorship program.
Communications Committee – Chair:
Responsible for overseeing all communications‐related activities for the association. This committee’s main goals for 2013 include: develop and update NPCAI marketing materials; produce, enhance and distribute the quarterly newsletter, The Playground Insider; distribute monthly e‐blasts to members promoting NPCAI and other items of interest; utilize and promote Facebook and LinkedIn pages; promote current benefits available to members and potential members; and enhance the NPCAI website, including the addition of e-commerce tools to allow for online payments.
Education Committee – Co‐Chair: David Dayton; Co‐Chair: Scot Givens
Responsible for overseeing all educational opportunities for the association – not including the Playground Construction School. This committee’s main goals for 2013 include: develop a curriculum/program to promote NPCAI contractors/installers for presentations at state conferences; draft specifications for architects; create 5 non‐playground related documents regarding logistics in installation; and develop one educational webinar to offer to NPCAI members.
Membership Committee – Chair: Jamie Snyder
Responsible for overseeing all membership‐related activities of the association. This committee’s main goals for 2013 include: add 3‐5 new member benefits to encompass all stakeholders; create an online member survey; increase membership to 300 with 25 being manufacturer members, retain 85% of all current members; and review and revise membership categories to encompass all stakeholders.
RISC Committee – Chair: Marylou Iverson
Responsible for overseeing all activities related to NPCAI’s Recreation Installation Specialist Course and Certification. This committee’s main goals for 2013 include: develop/create one new chapter for the RISC curriculum; offer RISC through two manufacturers; train two new instructors for RISC; and offer two RISC opportunities.
